Born into battle and one with the mud
my veins are the essence from which time is spun with this earth I am one
sullen waters enriched by blood
Vermicular, efficacious, the violent thirst for life earth eclipse brewed by darkness divine
Seeping out of gaia's womb the omnipresent essence; light
Corruptive planetary thieves
Impregnating iniquitous human seed
Sick, twisted, filthy gifts from God
Culminating, cultivating
Toxicant dregs unfit to be fodder
Born into battle and one with the dust
the cleansing ashes of humanity expunged
with this earth I am one
Sullen waters enrich the sun
The pride and joy of a fucking fool
Humanity, putridity
It's all the same to me
Tighten the noose around the crude
Prithee be met by death
Reject the lords fabled son
And bask in the most grandiose of ends

My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
